We have yet another new fantastic artist by the name of Gutterwipe (Mark Wilkie) joining us here at inct. Gutterwipes monster themed t shirts on inct are just a taster of what is to come from the self taught Hitchin born illustrator with more to be released over the coming weeks.
Taken from the artist personal website http://www.gutterwipe.com
“My name is Mark, a self taught illustrator from Hitchin in North Herts. I operate under the pseudonym Gutterwipe and specialise in creating cartoon-like, grotesque and colourful pieces of art.”
Go and check out his work.
Mr Mead T shirts now available on inct.co.uk.
Here’s a bit about the artist taken from his website http://www.mrmead.co.uk.
“Mr Mead is an artist who works traditionally in pen & ink on large scale mediums, with the smallest implements
he can find. He works in a tiny little attic room in the long established Jamaica street studios where he draws feverishly day and night. The artist is driven by his childhood fear of anthropomorphism. His work is a cathartic process to release his inner nightmares, after viewing at a premature age ‘The Tales of Beatrix Potter‘, a 1976 Royal Ballet film…..
He is influenced by the emerging American contemporary art scene, Koji Morimoto, Shaun Tan and Remi Wyart and many more…..”
